Inexperienced players lost many chances during the first half and allowed the rival to gain score opportunities yet the first half finished without any goal.
The second half also witnessed proper chances by Iranian side till the young player Mohammad Mehdikhani fired low into the bottom left corner to snatch three points.
Iran is in a row with Costa Rica, Zambia and Portugal in the competitions underway in South Korea 20 May and 11 June 2017.
